Bill's Teaching Experience
Bill began teaching private lessons as a college music student, and has conducted seminars, clinics and master classes in facilities from Miami to Columbus, OH. He has taught over 1000 students, dozens of whom have received scholarships and grants to some of the most prestigious conservatories in the country. Many of his students are now successful composers and performers, in wide ranging genres and styles.
Bill's Teaching Philosophy/Technique
"My teaching philosophy centers around enabling the student to be able to identify in musical terms the music he/she hears, whether it's from a recording, live, or in their head. If one can identify what they are hearing, chances are far greater that they can find it on their instrument. If they cannot, they are aiming in the dark."
